Christmas carols
I can hear them - they are just outside work now at lunch time.
Although there is no snow only rain now....never mind that it is offcially the 4th day of summer here......
And homeward-bound
AT least half the set of freinds and acquaintances are in the process of, or have already, gone to India. Things kind of quieten down now..and as ever, the urge to go is there. Only have to keep reminding myself of totally unimportant but necessary things like money, leave, and that fact taht I got back only this Jan from India.

Oh yeah, you guys have christmas in summer don't you .. must be pretty different .. this time of year is fun though - red and green everywhere in shops plus huge huge discounts and sales :)
In US too - this is the time most folks go to India.. bcoz we have 2 long weekends - one end of Nov and then Xmas too.. so most people like to go to India this time of year to save up on vacation + makes sense weather-wise too.. I'm also just like you wishing every now and then that I could go to India and do all the stuff I want to do... I guess no amount of time you spend in India during a trip is enough, plus when you're working all you get is a few weeks which never ever suffice..
how are things at your end otherwise? Papu's bday's coming up isnt it - any plans?

AS of now, no big plans, may go away for a few days during the break. Will call you at some stage. Hope your parents are coping well there.
