Happy Saraswathi puja to you all.
Ladies, and girls: check out our kolu (in its full glory below) and do drop in for manjal kungumam (haldi kumkum) and prasadam (sundal et al).

This is of course, Disneyland!!!! Don't miss the skating rink.

Bet the li'l one had a blast helping to arrange it all? :) The farm was the only thing I took a real interest in, actually growing mustard seeds (well, sprouting mustard plants) in the "field" :)

Very nice Golu and also the decoration by the kids. I remember Papu coming to out place during Navarathri time many years ago (she was 7 or so) - she thought it was a party and something and generously distributed sweets (that Satish had got for her) to the ladies from our building who came home for Golu.. so sweet.

Thanks papji - I got your mail, and sent u the pics. Kutty had a great time - with all her friends visiting, getting to wear pattu pavadai, and of course the Golu itself. She shocked me by not pulling any of the idols kept on the Golu - she's usually very quick in emptying drawers etc. :D
