Desi blogs
The best thing about desi blogs (all those written by Indians, wherever in the world they may be) is that I forget where I am when I am reading them.
So much so that when I hear the person next to me on the phone, for a split second, I am disoriented by the Kiwi acccent!!

Ha ha, yes, so true! I feel the same. There is just something great about reading a desi blog.. irrespective of where they are now, and which part of India they are originally from. There is this small invisible thread binding us and our thoughts :)

Exactly! I have started reading more of the desi blogs than the desi newspapers to find out whats happenning where.

Vidhu: It is a common thread alright and makes us realise how much we all have in common.
twin: there's something so much more personal in readnig the happenings in a blog, rather than in a newspaper.
