Papertree St she said, I thought as I drove down the road for the umpteenth time, looking for the street. Why couldn't I find it?
I passed another st that had a name beginning with 'P'. I reversed slightly to get a better look.
Peppertree St, it was.
Accents are funny things. Next time, I'll get her to spell it for me instead.

hehe.. I totally get a kick out of an Aussie accent - has yours changed too? :-)
heh. Nice one!
RADs: I like to think not, but maybe that's just wishful thinking....
Shyam: Thanks. has your accent changed? dont think u. do u think mine has?
Aussie or gujju?
Lak: Me? Neither - if anything, my accent should be slightly kiwi only, which is distinctly differnt from aussie, altho it takes a while to tell the difference.
Nope, yours hasnt changed as far as I can tell... but then you were speaking to me (and vice versa). Chances are we speak more like the locals to be easily understood by them.
Proverbial nail on the head, Shyam
