How much do I miss

being a journo?

A couple of months ago, I would have said, 'Not at all'

But now I say, 'A teeny bit'.

Maybe, just maybe, one of these days, I will put up a post on 'Glory Days' and enumerate my (many?) journalistic achievements.....Whatever - I am sure that I will do something better (and more useful) with my time!

Hi again! When did u pass out of VM?I passed out in 1993 (Elizabeth George was my class teacher that year). I wish I had attended VM's 50 year bash. Some of my classmates attended it, they said they had fun.

Well, well, I must admit that I am happy no one's felt threatend yet by my 'wish' to blog about my journo experiences.

Thanks Sinusoidally & Me.

Akka (probably more like thangai for me), cos I passed out before you, and yes, I do know E George. I think, but can't be sure, that Mohan was my class teacher. And welcome to me blog, fellow VMite and Chennaite.

Confused: That was just me, shooting my mouth off. I honestly don't think I'll ever have the time to blog about that, simply because there is far too much to write.

Lavannya,

Long time, thanks for dropping by. Yea gods, that was just a thought, I honeslty didn't expect such a large and willing audience. Thans anyways.

Spark: Welcome. Where do you live? As for NZ, your best bet for info will be the internet. Go through the websites and then ask me what ever!

Diana. Welcome and thanks. Keeping coming often.

thanks for the response, kiwimyl. sorry for not revealing more details in the comment. i've been finding the internet a great source of info. but i wanted that next step of first-hand info :) i study at iim, indore. i hail from thoothukudi, tamil nadu. i couldn't find any direct flights from madras. this would be my 1st international experience too. btw, do you live in auckland? a lot of my questions are about AUT. thanks for the reply.

For all the good it's doing me, I've gone no where. Just trying to grapple with too many things at the same time and that means, no time to blog!!
Btw, have finished John Keay's 'the Honourable company'. He's really good, a true historian and I definitely learnt many news things from the book. But the end, I felt, was a bit abrupt! Once you've read it, let me know what you think. And thanks for putting me onto him.
